PATRICIA PAO:    
A Harvard Business School graduate, Patricia has over 20 years of experience dealing with a wide industry range including consumer packaged goods, luxury goods, beauty, retail, spas/salons, technology, and non-profit work. Her client list includes companies such as: Clorox, Avon, Guerlain, Elizabeth Arden, Peter Thomas Roth Labs, Garden Botanika, Purlisse, Amenity, Ann Taylor, David’s Bridal, After Hours, Priscilla of Boston & Epson.

Her efforts have consistently resulted in doubled sales, substantially increased profits and company-specific metrics within six to eighteen months. Patricia develops and implements roadmaps for continued success.

It’s easier to identify the desired end goal than it is to determine exactly how to get there. Patricia excels at figuring out how to make companies grow profitably. She knows how to quickly identify and solve issues which inhibit companies from achieving their goals.

Patricia is a member of the CEW and a guest lecturer at FIT’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.

The following are a few highlights from projects Patricia has completed in the past 24 months:

Identified two major initiatives representing $130 million in incremental revenue with a national bridal retailer
Developed a strategy to reverse a sales decline for skin care line, doubled sales within 16 months
Developed strategic plan with a major beverage company to commercialize their technology in skin care market
Doubled sales for a major women’s specialty retailer by enabling them to successfully enter the bridal/special occasion segment

 

Patricia’s 11 years of beauty industry experience enabled her to develop a deep understanding of product development, sales and marketing skills in relation to color cosmetics, skin care and women’s fragrances. As a result, she single handedly developed a complete line of Apothecary products that exceed sales estimates by 20-times and generated over $1 million annual sales.

She has also successfully repositioned, repackaged and reformulated core color lines for two different cosmetic giants, Elizabeth Arden & Avon, which resulted in millions of dollars in incremental sales and profits. While at Elizabeth Arden, Patricia has created and led the development of major fragrance brands which have generated hundreds of millions of dollars in annual sales. At Avon, Patricia has also identified and acquired the rights to an innovative proprietary ingredient technology for the ANEW franchise. The ANEW skincare franchise consistently ranks as one of Avon’s top three brands.

Patricia received her MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley where she graduated summa cum laude.
